PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora, Talofa Lava, Kia Orana, Malo Ni, Fakaalofa Atu, Bula Vinaka, Malo e Lelei, Namaste, Hello and warm Pasifika greetings to you all.
At Wainuiomata Intermediate School we pride ourselves on providing a safe, stimulating and challenging learning environment. We offer all students a wide variety of academic, cultural and sporting opportunities.
The pre-adolescent years are an exciting time – a time when students are beginning to view the world and their part in it with a new awareness and understanding.
Our programmes challenge students to develop their skills and talents through a broad range of learning experiences. We offer a number of specialist curriculum areas, option programmes, leadership roles and sporting and cultural opportunities, as well as sound academic-based classroom programmes targeting this unique age group.
I strongly believe that all learners should be connected to their own identity, talents and cultures, and that diversity should be celebrated and supported within all learning environments and opportunities.
I am proudly from Wainuiomata and I value the input of our community, and I know that when we work together effectively, we can achieve wonderful things for all of our students, our teachers, our whānau and our wider Wainuiomata community.
I don’t believe there is a better middle school option than Wainuiomata Intermediate available in the Wellington region. With small class sizes, 1:1 digital devices, research based teaching and outstanding teachers, we can best meet your children needs.
I welcome anyone who would like to learn more about our school and what we offer to contact me, craigs@wis.school.nz and set up a time to meet and take a better look at our school in action.
